I have recently looked into joining PlasticJungle.com. I couldn’t help but check it out, I had to find out what happened at a site with such a cool name. LOL
This is what I learned, directly off their site:
“At PlasticJungle.com, you can buy, sell, or trade your gift cards. You can buy gift cards at a discount averaging 15 percent off the card’s face value, and in some cases 30 percent off or higher. There’s no risk since Plastic Jungle verifies and guarantees the balance on each card.
Plastic Jungle’s gift card inventory can include discounted gift cards from stores such as Best Buy, Walmart, Home Depot, Macy’s, Lowe’s, Sears, Applebees, Disney Store, NFL Shop, T-Mobile, & MANY more!”
While at a friend’s home, I noticed a Sears Gift Card hanging on her fridge and it was still stuck to a Christmas Card and here it is August! I said something about it and she replied that she never shopped there and then asked if I wanted it. I am going to tell her about Plastic Jungle. If she hasn’t shopped in Sears in over 7 months and even tried giving away the gift card, she’d be more than happy to gain something from her unused gift card.
How many partial gift cards do you have around the house? I have a $25 Gamestop gift card that has been lying on my counter since mid June! My son loves to go to Gamestop, but not if he has to spend his own money! He received that gift card for his birthday and won’t spend it. He keeps asking me to “buy” it from him – how sneaky is that?
Anyways, I started browsing through Plastic Jungle and found many cards, but you could save 16% off the Kohl’s gift cards! I like to shop at Kohl’s and they always have good back to school sales and nice shoes. Thanks to Plastic Jungle, I’m hitting Kohl’s this week with my new gift card and the most recent Kohl’s coupon flyer!
