Wow, what a ride! I just had my first test run with my new Rockboard scooter! I have to say that I am impressed! This scooter is much bigger than I had expected, so it will be ridden by my 11 year old and not shared with the 5 year old as I had planned. After my test run, I’ll now say that it will be shared by me and my 11 yr. old! Yes, I loved it and need one myself. It can hold up to 200 pounds and the handle bar comes all the way up to my chest, so it would be great for a tall rider. They have a mini version, Rockboard Mini Scooter, which would be good for the 5 year old. I always buy him riding toys that say they are made for older children, but this scooter says for ages 8 and up and I am behind that decision 100%! This scooter is much too large for a five year old to handle, no matter how skilled he may be. I often ride my children’s scooters, but find myself hunching over, not on the Rockboard! This scooter was made to fit those parents who want to ride, but feel too silly on the smaller sized scooters rolling down the street all hunched over.
Talk about getting some exercise, I could feel my heart beating after a few minutes of rocking back and forth on this board. The faster you rock, the faster the scooter takes you. At top speed, the Rockboard scooter can travel at speeds up to 10 mph. This would be great for a fun workout and then you could pop it into standard scooter mode to get back home in case you’re too worn out to rock back! Did I say standard scooter mode, I forgot to mention, this Rockboard scooter has two different modes: rocking for extra exercise and regular scooter mode like you have with other scooter brands. It also folds up, locks into place for easy storage and comes with a DVD and instruction manual that will have your scooter up and rockin’ in no time! Face it, we all wish our children got a little more exercise, now they can with the help of the Rockboard scooter!
I give this scoo
ter a thumbs up. It has a kickstand, does your scooter have a kickstand? Can you scooter offer 2 scooters in one, like the Rockboard? Could a tall adult ride your scooter comfortably? Does your scooter hold up to 200 pounds? It also has an adjustable hand break and a full decking across the board to prevent slipping. See the difference between a regular kick scooter and the Rockboard scooter when placed against a 6 ft. fence? What can I say, I love this! You can check this scooter out at Rockboard.com and purchase your own Rockboard on Amazon.com or Target.com.
Now, it’s your turn to experience this Rockin’ Ride. Rockboard Scooter is sponsoring a Rockboard Scooter giveaway on the mom blog that will run through Oct. 20, 2011. Wouldn’t you love to win this giveaway? Be sure you enter with as many entries as you can, you WANT this scooter! Come back daily and tweet about it for additional entries.
