Super Moist Banana Bread Recipe

banana bread

This super moist banana bread recipe is a yummy treat that you can eat for breakfast or dessert or as a snack in between.  It is also very easy to make and does not take very long either.

You will need:

  • Three medium bananas
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon (if you are not a fan of cinnamon, you can use less)

Steps For Making this super moist banana bread recipe:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mash your bananas
  3. Add the egg, sugar and cooking oil to your bananas
  4. Add the dry ingredients to your banana mixture and stir until moistened.
  5. Spray the bottom and sides of a bread pan with cooking spray.  Cook for 50-55 minutes or until the toothpick test works (insert a toothpick in the center of the bread and if it comes out dry, the bread is done).
  6. Allow pan to cool for 10 minutes.
  7. To remove the bread from the pan, first run a butter knife around the edges of the bread.  This will ensure that the bread isn’t stuck to the pan.  Turn the pan over onto your wire rack and your beautiful loaf of bread should come out easily!
  8. Allow your bread to fully cool before eating.  We do not want any burnt tongues!
